ABOUT US
The Thai Student Association (TSA) at the University of Michigan is one of the oldest Thai student organizations in the United States. For over fifty years, TSA has brought together students who share an interest in Thailand, its culture, and its community.
Our organization welcomes both Thai and non-Thai members from diverse backgrounds, including undergraduate students, graduate students, researchers, and alumni. Through social events, cultural showcases, community gatherings, and collaborations with organizations across campus, TSA strives to create a welcoming environment where students can connect, celebrate, and build lasting friendships.
From introducing Thai traditions to the broader Michigan community to supporting students far from home, TSA continues to serve as a space for cultural exchange, creativity, and community.

TSA hosts a variety of events throughout the year designed to bring people together and celebrate Thai culture. From social gatherings and game nights to food events and cultural performances, our events create opportunities for students to connect, make friends, and share memorable experiences.
Our signature event, Thai Night, showcases traditional and modern Thai performances, music, food, and culture through a collaborative celebration with students and the broader community.
